Who doesn’t like fry fish? Fry fish is everyone’s all-time favorite. There are a lot of people who don’t eat fish curry, some eats only curry no fish (I’m one of them) and some eat only fish fry. So in today’s article, I am going to share yummy fish fry recipes in different styles.

Andhra Fish Fry:

Andhra style Fish Fry

Try this Andhra-style fish fry recipe which is made of a lot of herbs and spices.

Ingredients:

  • Any fish –  250 gms into pieces
  • Garam masala powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Red chili powder – ¾ teaspoon
  • Turmeric – ¼ teaspoon
  • Ginger Garlic paste – ¾ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – as per taste

Method:

  • Clean and wash the fish. Place it on a soft cloth to get dry.
  • Take a bowl; add all the ingredients except lemon juice. 
  • Take the fish and apply lemon juice all over the fish.

Coastal Fish Fry:

Costal Fish Fry

One of the popular fish fry recipes to wake up your taste buds is known as Coastal Fish Fry.

Ingredients:

  • Bhetki fish –  250 gms into pieces
  • Rice flour – 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Chilli powder – 1 ½ teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Poppy seeds – 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Oil for fry – as required
  • Salt – as per taste

Method:

  • Clean and wash the fish. Place it on a soft cloth to get dry.
  • Take a pan, dry roast the poppy seeds, keep it aside and let it cool.
  • Once cooled down, transfer it to the blender and grind till fine powder. 
  • Once its powder then in the same blender add the rest of all ingredients.
  • If too dry then add some water to make a fine paste. 
  • Take another bowl, add fish pieces and marinate with this masala for 2 hours in the fridge.
  • After 2 hours take it out of the fridge and leave it for 10 minutes.
  • Take a frying pan, add some oil and fry it, flip on the other side, fry well.
  • Serve hot. 

Goan Fish Fry with Semolina:

This is one of the famous Goan dishes, a crispy fish made with rava / semolina. 

Ingredients:

  • Any fish –  500 gms into pieces
  • Semolina for coating – as required
  • Chilli powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoon
  • Oil – as per required
  • Salt – as per taste

Method:

  • Clean and wash the fish. Place it on a soft cloth to get dry.
  • Give gashes to the fish.
  • Take a bowl, put the fish, and apply lemon juice on both sides.
  • Now apply all the ingredients to the fish.
  • After this coat it with Semolina properly on both sides.
  • Take a frying pan, pour oil, and let the flame be medium.
  • Fry the fish, flip on both sides, fry till fried on both sides.
  • Serve hot.

Crispy Fish Fry with Rice flour:

Crispy Fish Fingers with Rice Flour

This is one of the famous Goan dishes, a crispy fish made with rice flour. 

Ingredients:

  • Bombay duck/bombil fish –  500 gms
  • Rice flour for coating – as required
  • Chilli powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Oil – as per required
  • Salt – as per taste

Method:

  • Clean and wash the fish. Place it on a soft cloth to get dry.
  • Take a bowl, put the fish, and apply all the ingredients on the fish.
  • After this, coat it with Rice flour properly on both sides. You need to press the fish lightly in rice flour. 
  • Take a frying pan, pour oil, and let the flame be medium.
  • Fry the fish, flip on both sides, fry till fried on both sides.
  • Serve hot.

Crispy Fish Fingers:

Crispy Fish Fingers

Besan coated fish fingers are one of the crispy fishes to enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • Any fish-  400 gms in pieces
  • Butter – 50 gms
  • Egg – 1 
  • Besan flour – as per required
  • Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – as per required

Method:

  • Clean and wash the fish. Place it on a soft cloth to get dry. on 
  • Take a bowl, put the fish, and apply pepper powder and salt.
  • Take a dish, add the besan flour, and coat the fish pieces.
  • Take a small bowl, break an egg and pour into the same.
  • Dip the besan coated fish pieces into the same.
  • Take a frying pan, pour oil, and let the flame be medium.
  • Fry the fish, flip on both sides, fry till fried on both sides.
  • Once removed from a plate, sprinkle lemon juice on it. 
  • Serve hot. 

Fish fry is the all-time favorite food of all ages as it is one of the crispy snacks, only how you cook matters.
